Starting in Riksgränsen, we bike past the old roundhouse ruin and the new hotel Niekhu Mountainvilla, continue on the the navvy road past the beautiful Norwegian cabin areas. We pass the historical war memory areas and further along a mountain side with an impressive view of the Norwegian valleys. We finally arrive at the Katteratt train station where we look down towards Rombakkfjorden and the Norwegian Sea and then bike the same way back to the Swedish border. The tour is magnificent in many ways. Ther bigger part of the trail goes high up on the hillside above the rail over long distances with an incredible view. It’s mostly downhill on the way there and some challenging uphill on the way home.
