We start in Riksgränsen, bike past the old roundhouse ruin and the brand new Niekhu Mountainvilla, and then on the navvy road past the scattered cottage areas on the Norwegian side. We pass many war memorials on the track that winds its way along a mountain where we have an incredible view of the Norwegian mountains and valleys. We reach Katteratt train station where we look out over Rombakksbotten and the Norwegian Sea, and then turn off towards Hunddalen and ride along a dirt road all the way up to a Norwegian mountain hut. We have coffee at an appropriate place and fill our water bottles with fresh mountain water from one of the many streams. The tour is very beautiful and the views are fantastic. Because of its length you shouldn´t be completely untrained.
